Missing in action
Weather: Humid

Dear Shadow,

Sorry for the disappearing act. I was kinda pissed off and didn't want to blog because Blogger deleted the whole entry which I happened to pour out all my feelings and emotions on that day. Gee I guess I'm not meant to post it eh?

A few days ago, my aunt who was a radio DJ at Mediacorp came to visit my grandma. I don't know how we started talking about Men and Women but we just did! Anyway, she was giving me really interesting perspectives on the differences between Men and Women.

[ add ons on the 17/09/04]

Just finished the prelims for the week. Gosh I'm literally dead. Emotionally and physically[exam sense]. Empty, finish. Now... I'm left to chill with Kristian Leontiou's voice. Really nice and soothing, not pop enough to be called pop. He's not really well known though. Anyway... I'm so unfeeling...i don't even know what i feel like writing. I'll just continue about the Men and Women thing. My aunt gave me an analogy where she mentioned about the Duck and the Chicken. =) Men are like the ducks who like to swim, different from women who are like the chickens which like to peck on the ground. [ I'm not trying to say that duck=gigglo or chicken=prostitute for your information. I was afraid someone might have taken it to heart ] Anyway sometimes Men do things which affect Women. For example, if the duck accidentally splashes water on the chicken, the chicken will start going " My beautiful feathers are wet. How can you wet my feathers" Then they will start making a big fuss out of it. The Ducks would be thinking, " Aiya, water only what." Somtimes we do not try to understand the position of the other gender. To the women, the bigger the diamonds are the better. Women will say things like " So nice and big. Shiny shiny one" Whereas the men think " Ah! Diamonds are just a waste of time. Made of carbon only what" This is just a general example. It might not apply to you.

Like my aunt said. Women are feeling creatures. However there is something she said about the guys. Eh guys arh! you all tell me what you think okay? =) She said that guys treat life like a game with different levels and different goals. For example, when they go after the girl they like, they will do everything for the girl. Carry the bag, do all sorts of funny things to show how much they love the girl. Why do I say funny things? Some Japanese guy if I'm not wrong actually went to ride around the whole state of johor. When the news reporters interviewed him and asked him for his reason for doing so he told them that he wanted to show how much he loves the girl. As a girl, I think thats pretty sweet, however I rather the guy spend his time with me than go riding round the state of johor. *Man.. this keyboard is killing me. So I continue with the game thing. They will go shopping with the girl even if they don't like shopping. * I don't like shopping either, I think its a waste of time. Then they will go and impress the parents to win "brownie points" so that if the girl does not want to marry the guy, the parents can side him. So after he marries the girl, he will go on to his next major goal, may it be a job or a car. As a couple, even though theyare married, they spend less time they used to when they dated. Often doing things seperately. If the wife says " I need to shop can you come along with me." The guy will say " I want to do my own things, you shop la, I meet you later for dinner. " So how do u feel after reading this? Agree, disagree? Is life not more than a game?
