Weather: Rainy! It rained again!!
Listening to: Last Night Of The World/Lea Salonga & someone...
I really wanted to write about the outing I had with my mum at TeaSpa. Unfortunately, that guy had to spoil it all. Well... it was my mum's 50th or 49th birthday I dunno which, and she decided to treat me to lunch. Apparently she gave me two choices. Prego and TeaSpa. I wanted to go to Prego however i didn't manage to voice out my thoughts fast enough. She chose TeaSpa. It was quite a nice and cosy place located at the Swisshotel, at raffles. As you enter the cafe, the intoxicating smell of tea just fills your nostrils. We settled down for a $12.90 Set lunch which included a soup, main course as well as a variety of teas. I took mushroom soup and some kinda pasta with chilli padi. I forgot the name of it. The soup was different for a change. Not too bland like Campbell's neither too chunky like Soup Spoon's. I would give it 8/10. While eating, I began to chat with my mum about certain things that were going on in my life. It's been a long while since I've had such a talk with her. I remember those times that I would cry and get depressed because she won't understand me, neither would she lend me her ears. Don't remind me about it. It just makes me feel bleahh... Well anyway, I told her about my journey in relationships? She knows about my "lao gong" which I don't remember marrying. hahaha. Not forgetting the guy that just insulted me. Even is was a joke, it was a crude joke! Talked about kenneth and ..... never mind. She seemed like a school girl just about my age waiting to hear the lastest gossips on others. Except that I was the main subject. We carried on talking, bout my dad, so on and so forth. Its good to have talks like these because you can relate and bond together easily which i feel is important. I like Lunch dates like these. =)
Today I've pretty much gone insane during Literature lesson. Doing what? Laughing while "talking/singing/ writing" out the lyrics of Toxic by britney spears. Kathryn was talking about her darling roddick being IN THE ZONE. So I referred it to Britney! Not that I like her but I'm not sure what song comes from the Album " In the zone" I practically just named any song that came to my mind =S Mind you, i really went insane... laughing non stop. Lydia thought it had something to do with the Farmhouse chicken patties. Kathryn threatened to dump me at Kuantan! Evil.... never mind, I forgive her because we've got a date tomorrow =)
I wanted to write soo much more. Except, I can't remember. =S well... what was I thinking about anyway... The disadvantages of having short term memories =S Oh oh! I remember. I wanted to quote something I found from " The Waiteress" by Melissa Nathan.
"By the time she had left the party,she had a date for the next weekend, a spring in her step and a warm glow where it mattered. By the next morning, the warm glow where it mattered had transformed into a thumping great pain where it hurt. By Monday morning it had developed into a dull ache all over." Funny how some things actually impact us huh? Anyway i really have to go. Sleep well for my prelims! Gah!
